Posted in Pro Football Weekly reports the Rams today officially announced the rookie deal for fifth-round pick WR Brooks Foster:
The Rams officially announced the signing Tuesday of fifth-round WR Brooks Foster to a four-year contract. Monetary terms of the deal were not immediately available. The 6-1, 204-pound Foster registered 97 catches for 1,237 yards and six touchdowns in his four-year career at the University of North Carolina. He started 13 of 41 career games for the Tar Heels.
In 2008, Foster played in 13 games with seven starts, ranking second on the team with 30 catches for 334 yards and two TDs. He is a naturally athletic wideout who can make the tough catch but is still considered a raw route runner.
