The Rams have released veteran WR Ronald Curry, FoxSports.com’s Alex Marvez reports. Curry was acquired via trade with the Detroit Lions in late July.

We are going to be previewing every position on the Rams here at the eve of training camp.  Today we wrap up the offensive side of the ball with the wide receivers.
Two wide receivers (Horance Gant and Travis Brown) were waived yesterday, which makes this group a little less daunting in size.

The Rams WR core got another addition Wednesday with the trade for Ronald Curry. The deal was broken down by Matt Williamson of Scouts Inc., and here’s what he says about the addition:

On the eve on training camp, the Rams trade newly aquired Orien Harris to the Lions for Ronald Curry.
So, to recap.  The Rams traded Brian Leonard to the Bengals for Orien Harris then traded Harris for Ronald Curry.
So, essentially this is a Brian Leonard for Ronald Curry move for the Rams.
