Things could not go better for the Rams. No our offense is not firing on all eight cylinders, but overall we’re playing very tough. The Rams d-line has rocked the Seahawks run game. Seattle has a net 14 rushing yards. Our d-line has also been all over Hawks QB Wilson. Their very highly ranked QB has only passed for 92 yards and has given up an interception. At the half the score is Rams 16, Seahawks 3.
The Rams only have 102 yards of total offense, but they’ve made them count. In the middle of the second quarter Rams QB Keenum hit receiver Britt for a diving 28 yard TD strike. Tack on the recovered fumble in the first quarter that was run back for 45 yards (Ayers) and a TD and you account for most of the Rams scores.
The Hawks look a little frustrated. Things have definitely gone the Rams way. To pull this off we will definitely need lady luck to stay on our side. Other keys of the second half include continued defensive pressure on Wilson, more tough play by our offensive line, no Rams turnovers, and more passionate and tough play by the Rams. There is a lot of time left, but the Hawks are a good team. We can win this if we play an entire game; not 30 minutes, but all 60. LET’S GO RAMS!!!
