Both the Rams and the Lions are both 4 win teams and they’re pretty much playing that way. The Rams have had some success rushing, but have done almost nothing receiving. The Rams injured D-line is not the MobSquad that we know and love. They’ve only had 1 sack in the first half and the immediate secondary has had a problem making tackles. The Rams offensive line has allowed a lot of pressure and 2 sacks on Rams QB Keenum.
The offensive stats for both teams are pretty bad (132 total yards for the Lions and 103 for the Rams.) 2 plays have been the difference in the game. The first was a Trumaine Johnson interception for the Rams. He made the inteception and then ran 58 yards for a TD and the only score of the game. The other play was a questionable personal foul (illegal block) against the Lions that wiped away a big offensive play ending around the Rams 5 yard line (the Rams really caught a break here).
Going into the half the score is Lions 0, Rams 7. The Rams have two 3rd down conversions in the game and have to get better in the second half to close this one out. It could happen. Go Rams!
