The Rams close out the 2015 preseason with a loss to regional rival Kansas City Chiefs. The Rams go 0-4 this preseason, but the main question is ‘have they been able to address key issues heading into the 2015 regular season?’ I would like to have seen a little more play today from new QB Nick Foles. Foles saw playing time for the first six and a half minutes of the game. He threw both a critical interception resulting in a Chiefs TD and a beautiful 43 yard strike to WR Tavon Austin (Foles stats: 2-3 for 49 yards and 1 INT). Seems like the Rams were content with Foles’ week 3 performance against the Colts where he went 10-11 for 128 yards and 1 TD. RB Isaiah Pead contributed 52 rushing yards off 12 attempts (a respectable 4.3 yards per carry) including a 1 yard TD dash. The Rams defensive highlight of the game came via Cody Davis’ 24 yard INT pick 6. Final score of the game Rams 17- Chiefs 24.
Can’t wait to open up the regular season at home next Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. It should be a tough one. Go Rams!
