Rams fans watched in horror most of the first half. Two Rams turnovers contributed to two Giants scores (thank you Rams defense for limiting the damage to 2 field goals). With 5 minutes remaining in the half the Rams were down 20-3. With 2 minutes remaining in the half the Rams had accumulated under 100 yards of total offense. So what kept us from derailing and crashing at the bottom of the tracks? Well, a Giants 36 yard defensive pass interference followed by a 5 yard encroachment penalty brought the Rams to the Giants 10 yards line. Enter Rams RB Tre Mason who sped around the left corner for a 10 yard TD run. Then the excitement of it all got to both teams as a huge fight broke out on the Giants sidelines resulting in the ejection of 3 players (2 Giants, 1 Rams). The Rams got the ball back on their own 40 yard line and were able to drive all the way to the Giants 2 yard line before being forced to settle for 3 points. The score going in the half is Giants 20 – Rams 13. I don’t know how, but we’re still in it Rams fans.
Lots of game left to play. Let’s try and hold onto the ball huh? Go Rams!!!
