Rams Lead Cowboys at Half

rams-cow

It’s halftime at the Edward Jones Dome. Rams, can you believe it, are leading the Cowboys by a score of 21-10. This game was all Rams until later in the 2nd Qtr. The Rams have looked good from every angle until later in the 2nd Qtr when we were called for a very obvious pass interference penalty that lead to Dallas’ only TD of the half. Then on the closing drive the Rams were hit with a bogus roughing the passer call. (Open your eyes ref…)

But outside of this… the Rams were firing on all cylinders. We scored touch downs on a short goal line pass to Kendricks, on a long bomb to Quick, and on an interception/quick-6-pic via Jenkins. Our running game is not quite what we would like, but QB Davis has been lights out. He’s spread the ball out to a lot of receivers resulting in 2 TD passes. Plus the Rams have dominated the Cowboys in regards to time of possession.

Our rested defense has done a great job. They have held Dallas’ monster running back Murray to 40 yards, they have pressured Romo, and have made the Cowboy’s receivers practically ineffective. Dallas’ points have all come from our mistakes (and a ref mistake).

Ok, hold your breath. The real test is now to come. “Don’t screw up.” Romo is not going to come back out of half time and roll over. We need to keep playing smart and tough. No mistakes.

Go Rams!!!

  1. Mike says:

21-10 at halftime, not 20-10. Was 21-0 earlier.

And it’s all downhill from there…
