Rams 2014 Season Predictions

The 2014 Rams Cheerleaders have been announced and that means it’s time to to make this season’s predictions.  Before I do, a couple stats I took into consideration:

2012 Away Games 2013 Away Games
3 5 7 2 6 7

I wanted to keep in mind recent away game win/loss numbers.  In the last 2 years we have won 7 games a year.  In 2012 3 of them were on the road and in 2013 we only had 2 road wins.  In 2014 I am forecasting 3 road wins.  My picks are also based upon opponents 2013 records, opponents 2013 off season grades, and Rams culture in general.  And with that said (drum roll please….), here are my 2014 picks:

1 Sun, Sep 7 vs Minnesota Home W
2 Sun, Sep 14 @ Tampa Bay Away L
3 Sun, Sep 21 vs Dallas Home W
5 Sun, Oct 5 @ Philadelphia Away L
6 Mon, Oct 13 vs San Francisco Home L
7 Sun, Oct 19 vs Seattle Home W
8 Sun, Oct 26 @ Kansas City Away L
9 Sun, Nov 2 @ San Francisco Away W
10 Sun, Nov 9 @ Arizona Away W
11 Sun, Nov 16 vs Denver Home L
12 Sun, Nov 23 @ San Diego Away L
13 Sun, Nov 30 vs Oakland Home W
14 Sun, Dec 7 @ Washington Away W
15 Thu, Dec 11 vs Arizona Home L
16 Sun, Dec 21 vs New York (G) Home W
17 Sun, Dec 28 @ Seattle Away L
Win 8
Loss 8

In most of the analysis I have read 2 common themes usually appear: 1 If the Rams were in a different division they could be a lot more successful and 2 One of the key factors to the Rams having a good season is the performance of Sam Bradford.  There is nothing we can do about being in our division, but Sam Bradford is the true variable.  I think Bradford is an average QB.  I think if he had a full career in the NFL he might have a couple great years.  Personally, I’m not sure he’s the right fit for the Rams and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him replaced half way through the season.

Rams 2014 Season Prediction is 8-8.

Go Rams!

  1. Dan says:

I agree with you about Bradford …. A better QB would have made more of this offense, despite mediocre talent around him. He also seems to panic quickly and look for backup receivers. True he has had weak O-lines up till now …. and this year may be the best he’s ever had in front of him …. so I’d like to be proven wrong. He’s a very nice guy … maybe too nice …. needs to get more emotionally involved in the game(s).

How about we merely don’t say it things ensure it is clear any particular one may as well
deal with all the accompanying stages that finishes an assignment.
s particularly helpful for software documentation or support processes, which
can be easy to look at screenshots of. Rca hdmi adapter yourself (
There are obviously moments of sheer inspiration, when words fly
out of the head and onto the page in front people faster
than you might have ever imagined. Without them, the plot is only a string of events,
and we are able to read about events in the newspaper.
