Why is No One Talking Brandon Browner?

It seems very shocking that there has been little talk about the potential for the Rams to peruse Brandon Browner in free agency. Browner is a very good and proven corner in the NFL, which is hard to come by these days. Although, Browner is turning 30 this up coming season, his price tag should be significantly less than his talent level considering he is coming off a long suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Not only is Browner a huge corner at 6 foot 4 inches that can match up on players like Fitzgerald, Boldin, and Crabtree; he also seems to fit Gregg Williams scheme perfectly. With Browner’s size he will be able to match up and hold his own in one on one situation, he could be a nightmare blitzing from the corner position, and he is a great run stopper. Finally, Browner has played the NFC West since 2011 and its very familiar with the 49ers, Cardinals, and his former team the Seahawks. Picking up Browner could be a huge piece of the puzzle in climbing to the top of the NFC West, considering his play is outstanding and addressing corner in free agency would allow the Rams to address other needs in the draft. Why do you think there hasn’t been much hype surrounding the potential pick up of Brandon Browner?
