Titans vs Rams – Preview & Injuries

Inspite of a disappointing record of 3-5, the Rams have had a few bright spots on the team.  Specifically, the defensive line and rookie RB Zac Stacy.  Stacy has played in 6 games in 2013 and has rushed for 348 yards.  Many of those yards have been explosive and timely.  The Rams defensive line has been a disruptive force lead by tight ends Chris Long and Robert Quinn.  In last week’s game against the Seahawks Quinn came up with three sacks to go along with another tackle for a loss.  Between the Rams tough denfensive play and a lot of Seahawks defensive penalties, the Rams were in contention for a win right up until the very end of the game.

This week the Rams will be playing on fumes as they take on the 3-4 Titans at the Edward Jones Dome.  We all know QB Sam Bradford is injured and out for the rest of the season, but this week our bright spots have been dimmed as well.  TE Quinn is out with an illness and will not play.  TE Long is suffering through a knee injury and will play, but will not be 100%.  Our other shining light RB Zac Stacy was limited in practice Friday and is also questionable.  With our strengths being weakened, I don’t see how the Rams will stand tall against a healthy Titans QB Jake Locker and squad.

Here is the injury report for both teams:
