Jags vs Rams: Halftime Report

monkey

At the half the score is Jags 10, Rams 24.  The Rams closed out the first half strong executing a 90 yard drive that took up just over 5 minutes and ended in a 4 yard Austin Pettis TD reception.  The Rams are up by 14 points, but they have had some help.  The Jaguars have given away 4 turnovers; 2 of which resulted in Rams scores.  In the first quarter the Jaguars dominated in terms of total yards earned, but the second quarter was all Rams as they put up 17 uncontested points.  Big performers for the Rams offense have been QB Bradford with 2 TD passes and no INTs and TE Kendricks with 4 receptions and a TD catch.  On the defensive side of the ball linemen Brockers and Long have each contributed a sack.

The Rams are looking good, but there is a lot of game left.  So far RB Jones-Drew has not done any damage, but Jags WR Blackmon already has 90 yards receiving and a TD.  We’ve got to continue to contain these guys.

The 2nd half is about to start.  Go Rams!!!
