RB Isaiah Pead Suspended For Violating NFL Substance Abuse Policy

Isaiah Pead

Rams second year running back Isaiah Pead will be suspended without pay for the first game of the 2013 season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

Pead was a second round(50th overall) pick of the Rams in the 2012 NFL Draft. He had a disappointing rookie season and was expected to share the load at running back with Daryl Richardson after Steven Jackson left for Atlanta in free agency.
