This year watching the Rams play was like riding a roller coaster blind folded. Just as you thought they were going to climb to the top… they came crashing down. When it seemed they might imitate their 2011 counter parts, they came roaring back and ripped off a bunch of wins. Sometimes the whole thing was tough to watch. Some of these were even wins. We smiled, but when no one was looking we shook our heads. And once we even climbed to the mountain top and knocked the king off. Man am I glad all that’s over.
Every one is saying 2013 is the year. After another year of playing together the Rams will be more consistent. We’ll forget about the last 5 or 6 years and expect to rival the Greatest Show on Turf. Well, I agree that 2013 is going to be a great year, but I want to tell you something your not going to like. Ready? 2013 is going to be just as ugly as 2012. We are going to lose games we shouldn’t have and look like crap at times. Fisher will struggle with time management and make some bad play calls. We will all scream and seek out some encouraging words from Kurt Warner. And we’ll probably doubt Fisher and wonder why he was ever hired.
There will be a difference though. By the end of the year we will have won more games than we did in 2012. By the end of the year we might have secured a place in the playoffs. By the end of the year we’ll see that something special is going on here. But its not gonna be pretty.
