The Rams, along with a lot of non-playoff bound teams, began signing future contracts so they could bring players onto their (90 man) roster in March. The Rams signed:
Linebacker Jabara Williams: Williams played college ball at Stephen F. Austin where he was a two-time All-America selection. He was also a Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time First-team All-Southland Conference selection. Williams played 2 games for the Rams in 2011. He was waived and then signed by the Bears where he played in 5 games. The Bears waived him and he did not play in 2012.
Wide Receiver Nick Johnson: Johnson played two years at NCAA Division II Henderson State and was a member of the Rams 2012 practice squad.
Wide Receiver Raymond Radway: Played college ball at Abilene Christian. Radway was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2011. In the preseason of 2011 he broke his fibula and tibia. Radway spent 2011 on IR. In October 2012 he was signed to the Bears practice squad.
Defensive End Mason Brodine: Brodine played college ball at the University of Nebraska-Kearney where he was a 2nd-team All-Central Region and 1st-team All-RMAC selection. Brodine signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent and made the active roster (2011). He played in two games and looked rather impressive.
Running Back Chase Reynolds: Chase played for the Montana Grizzlies. In 2008 he was a second team All-Big Sky selection. He was selected 1st team All-Big Sky in 2009 and 2010. His senior year he set a school record with 321 rushing attempts and 144 points. He was sign by Seattle in 2011 and then waived during preseason. Reynolds spent the 2012 season on the Rams practice squad.
Tight End Cameron Graham: He played three seasons at Louisville. His senior season he led the squad with 470 receiving yards. Graham was signed by the Titans in 2011 and spent the season back and forth between the active roster and practice squad.
Guard Brandon Washington: Washington played college ball at the University of Miami where he was an All-ACC selection as a sophomore in 2010. He announced his decision to enter the 2012 NFL Draft and skipped his senior year. He was signed by the Eagles in the 6th round, but was cut before the season started.
Offensive Tackle Ty Nsehkeq: He played college football at Texas State. He went undrafted in 2009 and spent the last 3 years playing arena foot ball (Dallas Vigilantes, Philadelphia Soul, and San Antonio Talons). For the month August 2012 he was signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad.
