Most of yesterday’s game against the Bills was not pretty, but getting our third consecutive win was a beautiful thing. I’m all for doing things right, but sometimes you just have to hang on for life and be happy to get a ‘W’. I don’t think the Rams had a single positive yard on offense going into the half, but we got a few in the second half. By the end of the game we had accumulated close to 300 yards of offense and evened out the time of possession.
I think this win was a very positive accomplishment for the Rams. I’ve said it before and I believe it, “bad teams find a way to lose” and yesterday the Rams shook that outcome and found a way to win. In 2011 we would have lost this game, but in 2012, with less than 5 minutes to go in the game the Rams engineered a game winning. Bradford threw 6 incomplete passes in those last 4 minutes, but still managed to move the ball down field.
Three weeks ago the Rams were 3-6-1 and a lot of us lost heart (I did). Three weeks later I feel like a champ again (as if I ran a TD in myself lol). Today we are undefeated in the division and talking about the playoffs. Now this talk may not be realistic, but we are talking non-the-less. If the Rams win out, we would be ending the season 9-6-1. Holy frickin cow… Yeah we need a lot of work. Watching the Patriots crush the Texans tonight kind of brings to light what we’d be up against even if we made it to the playoffs, but it could happen.
So, let’s get the offense rolling (the worst part of the team), let’s keep playing great defense, let’s keep Greg ‘the Leg’ positive, and let’s keep getting turnovers. Anything can happen. Go Rams!!!
