Rams and Niners Go To OT

There is something about this match up that is almost magical.  A tight tough as nails game got pretty crazy in the 4th quarter.  Actually, the crazy began in the 3rd when the Rams picked up a safety for their first score.  Then in the 4th, 49er QB Kaepernick threw a goofy backward pass that was picked up and run into the end zone by Rams CB Jenkins. A couple of field goals later and regulation playing time expires with the score 49ers 13 , Rams 13.

OT Update

Rams received possession first in OT and had to punt.  Hold your breath Rams fans…

The safety was clearly a bad call. The ball DID make it past the line on scrimmage (remember, the line of scrimmage extends out of bounds).
