The St Louis Rams defensive TE Robert Quinn did not practice yesterday due to a concussion. Quinn leads the Rams with sacks this season with 8.5. This is bad news for the Rams who play NFC West conference rival the SF 49ers this coming Sunday. Quinn’s back up is Eugene Sims. Sims started the entire year for the Rams in 2011 and has himself spent time on the Rams’ injury report this season. If he is fully healthy he should be a competent replacement. Also missing practice on Wednesday are…
LB Mario Haggan – elbow
C Scott Wells – knee
RB Steven Jackson – foot
WR Danny Amendola – foot
(I’m assuming the injuries to Wells, Jackson, and Amendola are less serious and they are missing practice only to get extra rest.)
