As of 12 noon PST here are the current records of the teams in the NFC West:
| Win | Loss | |
| Arizona | 4 | 1 |
| SF | 3 | 1 |
| St Louis | 3 | 2 |
| Seattle | 2 | 2 |
Today the 49ers play the Bills at home in San Francisco. Also today the Seahawks play the Panthers in Carolina. If we give the wins to the home teams, the numbers at the end of the day will look like this:
| Win | Loss | |
| Arizona | 4 | 1 |
| SF | 4 | 1 |
| St Louis | 3 | 2 |
| Seattle | 2 | 3 |
Moving into week #6 the Rams will at least be tied for 2nd in the NFC West which is looking to be a tough division. Next week the Rams take on the Miami Dolpins in Miami. The Dolphins have a good running game which will test the Rams defense. Hopefully, DT Michael Brockers is healthy enough to help contain Reggie Bush. The Rams have a great pass defense, but playing on the road against a running team could be bad news. After Miami the Rams have 3 tough games in a row (1 in England against the Patriots). The Rams need to strengthen the run defense between now and next Sunday. After that we will need to come up with something special if we’re going to continue to stay relevant in the NFC West. (I wouldn’t be surprised is Jeff Fisher had something up his sleeves.)
Go Rams!!!
