Coming into halftime this game has been a close one. The score is Rams 10 and Cardinals 3. Both teams have been playing tough defense and have been getting pressure on their opponent’s QB. The difference in this match has been the Rams opening drive TD (44 yard pass to Amendola and 7 yard pass reception by Kendricks). Also, with 3:31 left in the 1st half Jay Feeley missed a 40 yard field goal which would have brought the Cards within 4 points.
On the Cardinals last 2 drives of the half, QB Kolb took a beating. He was sacked twice (4 times for the game), but he was getting hit at will. With the Rams on the field for the final minute, Kolb was on his sideline getting checked out (seeing if his head was still attached to his body).
Amendola has been great as usual, but was hurt with what looked like a collarbone injury in the 2nd. He was taken out of the game and no word has been given regarding his return in the 2nd half. If the Rams can continue to get pressure on Kolb, this could be another Rams win. Stay tuned for the second half. Go Rams!!!
