Seahawks vs Rams: Q2 Update

Well, the ‘good’ Rams have showed up in the 2nd quarter (it might be more accurate to say the ‘lucky’ Rams).  Marshaun Lynch had been running at will against the Rams for the entire first quarter, but somewhere around the middle of the second quarter the Rams were able to slow him down.  With 7:23 remaining in the half the Seahawks are at the middle of the field and Wilson steps back to pass.  Say hello to Trumaine Johnson and his first interception of the season.  Bradford is sacked on this next drive, but the Rams are still able to move the ball all the way to the Seahawks goal line.  Highlights of the drive include a 9 yard run by SJ, a 17 yard reception by Pettis, a 19 yard reception by Quick, and a 11 yard catch by Amendola.  Once on the goal line the Rams are hit with a badly timed holding call.  An 11 yard reception to Amendola gets the penalty yards back.  With 1:20 left in the half Bradford throws an incomplete pass.  The field goal unit comes on the field.  The Rams pull a fake punt!  Holder Hekker passes to a wide open Danny Amendola.  Touch Down Rams!!!  The Rams make a big defensive stop (huge sack by Eugene Sims) and are able to tack on another field goal on on the final possession of the first half.  At half time and the score is Seahawks 7 – Rams 13
