1 The Rams front office has been busy getting contracts wrapped up for Trumaine Johnson and Janoris Jackson. The ink is still wet, but it is on the paper in time for training camp.
2 Rookie training camp began Wednesday and the new guys were greeted with temperatures above 100 degrees (it cooled off to the mid-nineties on Wednesday).
3 Rams veterans arrive in camp on Saturday to begin training on Sunday (wonder how the weather is going to greet them?).
4 Here’s a great quote from Steven Jackson (at Brian Quick),”… He’s a high draft pick and we’re going to need someone on the outside to make plays and I’m challenging him right now because we’re going to need him to prepare himself over the next six weeks to be a standout on this team.” Via Bryan Burwell from the St Louis Post-Dispatch
5 Robert Quinn is not getting things right coming in to play for the Rams. Earlier this month he was arrested for DWI. Not only was he in intoxicated and in an accident; he also didn’t have auto insurance.
6 Earlier this month Rams TE Brody Eldridge was suspended for the first four games of season for PEDs.
7 The Rams’ first preseason game is right around the corner. The big day is August 12, 2012. (Rams vs Colts)
