Haggan is a veteran linebacker who was first signed by the Buffalo Bills in 2003. Haggan played for Buffalo through the 2007 season and was traded to the Denver Broncos. In 2009 he hit his stride as starting OLB and defensive team captain. In 2010 he was moved to starting ILB. Haggan was valued by the Broncos as a depth player for his versatility, having played all three linebacker positions and both defensive end positions.* The Rams picked him up in May 2012 via free agency. Haggan is targeted to back up Jo-Lonn Dunbar and will also play a key role on special teams. At 6-3, 274 lbs he is big at the linebacker position, but he doesn’t see a problem with it,
““When a guy can make the plays, no matter what size he is, you give a guy an opportunity to play,” Haggan said. “I don’t think size matters.” Cbssports.com
We all look forward to seeing his contributions in 2012. Go Rams!!!
