Jeff Fisher has been holed up at Rams Park almost all day and the rumors have been flying left and right, so let’s take a look at what is bouncing around. Everyone thinks Fisher to the Rams is incredibly close, but let’s take a look at what might be left.
First from Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
Jeff Fisher was the Head Coach of the Houston Oilers who went through a 1 year relocation to Nashville to become the Tennessee Titans. However, on the other side of things is the fact that Fisher is familiar with LA, having played at USC and coaching 1 year with the LA Rams. So, Jim Thomas’s statement certainly needs some clarification.
Mike Freeman of CBS Sports also reported that Fisher has a 95% chance of going to the Rams, but the only hang up would be if the Dolphins owner, Steven Ross could blow Fisher away with a contract offer.
Tony Sofitli of 101 ESPN also reported in a tweet (that was later deleted) that two coaches from Spagnuolo’s staff came to Rams Park and speculated that they were there to interview with Fisher.
Charlie Casserly said on The NFL Today on CBS that Jeff Fisher’s situation: “It looks like St. Louis” for Jeff Fisher.
And it looks like as of 4:06 central time, Jeff Fisher has left Rams Park. Thanks to both Tony Softli and Jim Thomas were apparently imbedded in the bushes outside of Rams Park on a stakeout and brought us all the pertinent information.

I can’t believe we’re this close to some really positive news for once and the spectre of relocation to LA has to be brought up. Hopefully Kronke is committed to staying in STL but I don’t trust him or his dirty WalMart money.
