Rams Interested In Hall of Fame Game

According to a few different news sources, the Rams have declared their interest in playing in the Hall of Fame game, (Hat-tip TST) which kicks off the NFL preseason at the Hall of Fame ceremonies in Canton, Ohio.  This would have two very obvious benefits for the Rams team.  First and foremost, they would get huge national attention by playing the first NFL game of the year (provided there is football in 2011).

Another benefit to the young Rams would be 5 preseason games to get their young players some experience especially if minicamps or training camps are effected by the labor situation.

So, if there is going to be a Hall of Fame game, the Rams should definitely attempt to be in the game to help their current squad and celebrate their former player, Marshall Faulk.
