Rams vs Cardinals: The Final Word

Coming out of the 3rd QTR, one more field goal turned out to be more than enough for the Rams to hold off the now 4-8 Cardinals (man do they ever miss Kurt Warner).  The Rams go to 6-6 which should tie them for 1st place with the 6-6 Seahawks (assuming the Seahawks close out in Seattle).  Here are some of the Rams’ stats:

Sam Bradford: 18 for 29 for 187 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT.  His passer rating was 66.3 (compared to under 30 for Derek Anderson).
Steven Jackson: 28 rushes for 102 yards.  He had a 27 yard rush with an average of 3.6 yards and a TD.  This was the first time that I can remember) in a long time that SJ out performed our opponents star running back (Hightower rushed for 81 yards and 0 TDs).
Brandon Gibson:  Gibson was the Rams most prolific receiver today.  He caught six passes for 54 yards (Billy Bajema had a 26 yard catch).
Defense: The Rams defense lead with 4 sacks, 2 INT, and some serious ninja clutch stops throughout the game.

Next week we play a very tough, 9-3, New Orleans Saints team.  We will be playing them on the road so cross your finger and say your prayers.  This is going to be a tough one.
