Rams vs Cardinals: Q2 Update

Q2 looked a lot like Q1.  The Rams were able to score another field goal (Josh Brown kicked a monster 52 yarder).  Again the Cardinals were having a nice pleasant time down on the field.  Moving along nice and easy… stretching a little… enjoying their red clad fans… until they got down to the Rams 31 yard line.  Then the air thickened and the clock stood still as the Rams ninja defense snuck onto the field.  The Cardinals feel a hightened dark energy coming from across the line of scrimmage.  The one who is called Dahl, freezes in on Anderson.  The pass is released and Dahl devours it.  Twenty three yards later the Rams have taken possession of the ball.

So on their own 33 yard line the Rams go to work.  Now it is our turn for a leisurely stroll down field.  Gibson yawns and reals one in for 11 yards.  Then another for 15.  Fells contributes 9 and Robinson devies gravity during a 14 yard reception.   The next play is a handed off to Jackson who explodes for 13.  We are on the Cardinals 2 yard line with 16 seconds to go in the half.  Another transformation occurs as the Cards bring out some mercenaries of there own.  Three incomplete passes later and the Rams remain on the wrong side of the end zone line.  Our consolation is another Josh Brown field goal and a 3 point lead as we go into the half.  The score is Rams 9, Cardinals 6.  The 2nd half is about to start and there is more to come.
