Trending The Rest Of The Rams Schedule

Looking at the 2nd half of the Rams schedule before the season and early in the season looked like a minefield of difficult games and tough road trips, but lets look how the Rams schedule looks after the bye. More often than not, it looks like the teams on the schedule for the 2nd half of the season are trending down at this point in the season. That is good news for the Rams in a potentially tough stretch of games.

AT SF – With the Rams no away game should be counted as an easy game, but the 49ers are falling apart and just gave Carolina their first win this season. The 49ers are trending down.

vs ATL – Atlanta is a good and talented team, especially at wide receiver. The Falcons are trending up.

AT DEN – Denver just gave up 59 points to Oakland at home in 3 quarters. Both sides of the ball are struggling after a hot start from Denver. This will still be a hard game for the Rams away from home and at altitude. The Broncos are still trending down.

AT ARI – Arizona has made a ton of mistakes and also has a young QB, just like the Rams. Once again, nothing should be counted on for the Rams away from home, but the Cardinals are trending down.

AT NO – The defending champs are getting everyone’s best shot and wilting under the pressure a bit. This game will still be tough for the young Rams at the intimidating Superdome. The Saints are trending down though as a team.

vs KC – The Rams get their neighbors down I-70 for a rare regular season meeting. Kansas City started hot, but has cooled off. However, there is no reason that the Chiefs will be out of the AFC West race by this time. It will be up to Rams fans to keep their tickets out of the hands of KC fans. Kansas City is trending down, slightly.

vs SF – Just as above, when it seems like it cannot get any worse the 49ers have dove deeper this season. Should the 49ers keep Singletary all season; the 9ers will be in full mutiny mode by this game. 49ers are trending down like above.

AT SEA – The Seahawks look like the best team in the NFC West by default so far and they have defended their turf at Qwest field like they have in seasons past. The Rams will need to fix their away game problems before they go into the cauldron that is Qwest Field. Seahawks are trending up.
