Quotes From Steven Jackson on The TOCHO Show

Steven Jackson is one of the first guests on the TOCHO show, which if you did not already realize, is a combination of the names T.O. and Chad Ochocinco. T.O. and Chad are the hosts and here is some of what Steven Jackson will have to say on the show tonight.

“I agree with Reggie Bush. I’d rather get hit in my head than my knee”

Obviously, Steven Jackson is the football player and I’m just the guy typing on his computer, but a hit to the knee has the possibility to end your career. A hit to the head has a possibility to end your life. And hits to the head will in fact end your life early.

“The lockout is definitely possible. I tell young players to save their money”

If the NFL locks out its players, they are effectively shutting down their money printing press. The NFL is making money hand over fist and has never been more popular. If they lockout after this season, they will only engender ill will amongst the NFL fans. Look how well it worked for the NHL, right? Oh…

“The running backs I’d pay money to see: Adrian Peterson, Ricky Williams and Chris Johnson”

Pretty straight forward here, but Ricky Williams sticks out a bit.

“I get better tables in St. Louis than Pujols and Nelly. The Cardinals didn’t make the playoffs and Nelly’s in the studio right now so I win by default”

I’m not sure that Steven Jackson should be comparing himself to Albert Pujols with playoff appearances as the measuring stick.  So, what Steven Jackson is saying is: if Nelly, Albert Pujols and Steven Jackson all walked into a restaurant at the same time without reservations, Jackson would get the best table…

Either way, it is good to see the Steven Jackson is getting a starring role at local St. Louis restaurants and starring interviews on sports talk shows, even if it is the TOCHO show.
