Mark Clayton Lost For The Year

Mark Clayton told the reporters after the game that he was done for the year with a knee injury.  He injured his Patella Tendon on a non-contact play in the 1st quarter.  Mark Clayton had gone from not needed in Baltimore to #1 receiver in St. Louis as he previous connection with Sam Bradford increased with playing time.  Clayton was a big reason the Rams offense improved so far in 2010.

The Rams are back to their poor wide receiver corps that they had last year.  Laurent Robinson, Brandon Gibson, Danny Amendola, Mardy Gilyard are the only receivers left healthy on the active roster.

The news couldn’t get worse for the Rams and their fans as injury is now added to insult.
