Early Great Injury News

I hate to bump a “Rams Win” post off the top of the page, but the Rams have some early returns from their injuries to two of their star players.

Two good updates from OneRamsWay on twitter, the Rams official twitter feed:

Updates from locker room: RB Steven Jackson has groin injury, Spags says “fairly” certain is not torn. MRI in the morning.

S Oshiomogho Atogwe’s quad “never loosened” up after it bothered him all week. He’ll be monitored day to day.

The only bad news involved special teams ace Dom Curry who blocked the first Redskins punt of the game:

WR Dominique Curry’s knee injury is substantial. Likely an ACL but won’t have definitive ruling until tomorrow.

Tough break for Dom Curry who has been big on special teams for the Rams, but the best news is that the Rams stars do not have serious injuries at first glance.  Both Atogwe and Jackson will be needed for the showdown with the Seahawks next week.
