The Rams defensive end Leonard Little is going to be an unrestricted free agent when the NFL’s league year starts on March 5th. Leonard has declared this week that he wants to play again in 2010 rather than retire. Then the question becomes which team he he play for in 2010?
As reported, the Rams did meet with Little and his representatives at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis. Brian Stull of 101 ESPN in St. Louis says this about the result of the meeting:
Multiple sources have told me the Rams and Little’s people met yesterday–open door for Leonard to return, but he hasn’t decided yet
Little’s other reported suitors are Washington and former defensive coordinator and interim head coach Jim Haslett and Carolina which is close to where Little grew up.
