Posted in The Rams and Bucs blockbuster trade has gone the way of the do-do faster than the NFL world can spin these days with both the Rams GM Billy Devaney busting the rumor and NFL media star ESPN’s Adam Schefter doing the same.
GM Billy Devaney puts it in black and white language in his chat:
I am being completely honest when I say I have not talked to anyone in Tampa Bay. I’m not saying that won’t happen at some point but to date there is absolutely nothing going on.
Adam Schefter had two things to say:
This trade is as close as I am to being the No. 1 overall pick.
Not to say the Rams and Bucs couldn’t one day make a trade, but so far their conversations have been as extensive as mine and Tiger’s [Woods].
So, that is that. Another rumor that came from nothing returns to nothing. From dust to dust.
