Kurt Warner to Retire

Former great Rams QB Kurt Warner is going to announce his retirement later this week.  The Super Bowl winning QB will leave the league with two lasting legacies with the Rams and the Arizona Cardinals.

He leaves the Arizona Cardinals in a lurch as they have shown they are significantly worse with Matt Leinart at quarterback.  His departure also leaves the NFC West wide open with the rebuilding Rams and Seahawks.

Kurt Warner will always be remembered in St. Louis for his unbelievable out of nowhere Super Bowl season and as the ring-leader of the Greatest Show on Earth.  He was torn down by the Rams high-risk offense and slowly built himself up with the Arizona Cardinals taking his team back to the Super Bowl.

Kurt is a legend and he will be missed in the NFL.  Best of luck to him and he should be headed to Canton some day.

Either way the man is a Hall of Famer and one of the truly rare players that I wished well no matter which team he is with.
