At this point, there is not too much to say about the St. Louis Rams.  In fact, anyone who is reading this is really a glutton for punishment.  In fact, I may be certifiably insane for continuing to write about this sorry franchise.  I could come up with 3 or 4 flimsy high points and good things about the Rams in 2009, but it is not worth it.

Looking at the offseason, I don’t know why any free agent with any other choice would come to St. Louis.  I have no idea why any veteran players like Leonard Little or James Hall would even want to return to the Rams.  At this point, I have no idea why Steven Jackson wouldn’t just demand a trade to a team that wins more than 5 games every three years.

This is fodder for a whole different post, but the Rams have taken regression to the mean and spit in its face.  In February I wrote an article that looked at some stats that said that the Rams had a 1 in 10 chance to go from 3 wins to 2 wins.  They took care of that.  The Rams had a very slim statistical chance to have less than 2 wins in 2009, and they look like they are on track to achieve that feat again.

This sucks.  I’m sorry Rams fans, we don’t deserve this.
