Steven Jackson Health Update

For the second week in a row, Steven Jackson did not practice all week due to a sore back.  But for the second week in a row, he expects to play in the game on Sunday.  He was able to play against the Seahawks last week, but he was not at full strength in a game the Rams lost.

He has been receiving treatment all week, but he expects to have trouble loosening up his back in the cold Chicago weather.  It is expected to be sunny with a high of 40 degrees in Chicago on Sunday.  So, it will be cold, but not “frozen tundra” cold.

Steven Jackson represents the focal point of the Rams offense for the defense and should be less effective than he was against Seattle.  The Bears defense has been game-planning all week for Jackson, so this would be the perfect time for the Rams to roll out their 4-WR sets which worked well in limited plays against Seattle.

They will never expect it.
