Rams – Seahawks Week 1 Preview

First and foremost, the Rams have lost to the Seahawks 8 times in a row.  They have not beaten the Seahawks in 4 seasons.  This is in incredible.

The Rams need to put the rivalry back in this rivalry.  And they have a tall task ahead of them Sunday at 4pm Eastern at Qwest field.  The number one test for the Rams will be the offensive line against the 12th man for Seattle.  Alex Barron is starting at left tackle and has had trouble with false starts in the past.  Jason Smith will be making his first career start at right tackle.

The Rams newly formed youth movement across their defense will have a huge test against the veteran offense for Seattle.  Ron Bartell with match up with TJ Houshmanzadeh.  However, Seattle will be without All-Pro LT Walter Jones.  Look for Steve Spagnuolo to exploit the advantages presented with Leonard Little, James Hall and Chris Long.

It is the first week of the season, so we have no idea what to expect from either team in 2009.  Look for the Rams to show fight and heart and bounce back from any adversity they will face in Qwest field.

Go Rams!
