The Rams cut veteran DT Hollis Thomas this morning.  Hollis Thomas was signed as a free agent at the beginning of training camp.  He never had the desired impact the Rams were hoping he would.  He has had a career as a wide-body run-stuffing DT and with the Rams he didn’t live up to expectations.  [...]

Rams starting OLB David Vobora has been suspended 4 games for the use of PEDs.
Vobora’s representatives claim that he must have taken a tainted supplement because he followed the rules and regulations in regards to the supplements he was taking.  They claim that the supplement had a banned supplement in the product that was not [...]

Game #3: Packers 36, Rams 17
Trying to give the Packers more than they expected today, the Rams bogged down in turnovers, penalties, and a defense yet to learn that bend-but-don’t-break doesn’t mean bend over backwards. And in the end, the Rams may have been the [...]

Rams lost practice squadder DE Bryan Smith to the Jaguars today.
Smith was a great pass-rushing prospect for the Rams and it hurts to lose him a little more than the regular practice squad player.  The Rams signed him to their practice squad after he was released by Philadelphia earlier this year.
Best of luck to Bryan [...]

Rams got bad news on the injury front today as Laurent Robinson is out for the year with a high ankle sprain AND fractured fibula.  That is the worst case scenario for the Rams offense that had Robinson as its only highlight in 2009.  I guess we will see what Robinson can do again in [...]
