“We’re not earmarking James for that one (role),” said Spagnuolo, the Rams’ rookie head coach. “There are a lot of guys that are going to play a lot of different positions. And it won’t all be things that we’ve done before. We’re trying to create the Rams defense here.”

Coach Steve Spagnuolo on DE James Hall and how the Rams are going to use him all along the defense line this year.  James Hall was the Rams best defender (according to Pro Football Focus) last year as he was used part-time in situations in which he could be successful.  Hopefully that continues to an even greater extent in 2009.
