Peter King and Mike Sando both file their camp reports for the Rams today on the eve of their preseason opener.
Peter King likes James Hall, worries about the Rams wide receiver depth and Alex Barron with the offensive line. He also speculates the Adam Carriker’s ankle problems will become chronic.
The Rams seem concerned that defensive tackle Adam Carriker is going to have chronic ankle problems. He missed eight games last year with an ankle injury and rolled an ankle during a scrimmage last week, putting him out indefinitely. That’s not good.
Mike Sando likes how Coach Spagnuolo has taken over the franchise and every player, even Steven Jackson has bought into his plan.
Spagnuolo has gotten the Rams’ attention and held it through the first two weeks of training camp. The vibe is unmistakably positive.
“The hiring of Coach Spagnuolo is definitely the biggest move this offseason, the right step for us,” Bulger said. “You are either onboard or you are not. I respect that approach and I think everyone has bought into it.”
