Rams Gab Camp Report – Day 7

The official Rams Gab training camp corespondent, Zachary Roman, my brother (thanks Zach!) was at training camp again today and filed this report with his findings.

3 DBs ( 2 CBs and 1 safety) went up against 2 WRs:

Eric Bassey dropped an INT that hit him in the chest as he was trailing Avery. The pass was a little behind Avery on the play.
The WRs were able to easily get open aganst the DBs, most likely because the QBs had so much time to throw.
On one play Wade was able to wrestle ball away from Robinson.

The rest of the camp report is after the jump!

During 11v11s:
Robinson beat King down the field but was not able to gather in the pass from Bulger.

At one point they backed up the offense to their own 3 yard line and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd string offenses were all able to pick up the first down.
Adam Goldberg pretty much summed up the day for the offense when I could hear him say in the huddle, “They haven’t stopped us yet. Let’s go!” It was true, the offense was able to connect on most of its passes.

During red zone 11v11 where the offense started with the ball on the 20:

The 1st team offense almost had a TD on a 2nd and 5 play from the 15 on a pass from Bulger to Bajema but Bajema bobbled and dropped the pass.

Brooks Foster bobbled a pass but was able to corral it and get both feet in the back of the end zone for a TD on a great pass from Berlin.

During 7v7s:

Robinson had a TD on a nice go route where he just beat the CB down the field.

Offensive vs Defensive Line:

The 1st team offensive line was holding its own and only Leonard Little was able to get past Goldberg.
Jason Smith was beat by Leonard LIttle on a quick strip move.
Jason Smith got some extra work today again on his pass blocking skills.
