No Worries About Rams Picks

The Rams have not signed any of their 2009 NFL draft picks so far this year, despite agreeing in principle to a deal with 3rd rounder Bradley Fletcher.  Fletcher has agreed, but not signed, a technicality.  But, despite that, Rams chief negotiatior Kevin Demoff is sleeping in on a matress made of happiness.

“I don’t lose any sleep,” Demoff, the team’s lead contract negotiator, said Monday. “These things have a way of working themselves out. … I would be shocked if there was a holdout” on July 31, when the first official camp practice is scheduled for Rams Park.

Bill Coats on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch checks in with Kevin Demoff to unearth the good news about the Rams draft picks.  But that does not mean we will not be waiting with baited breath here at Rams Gab for all the draft picks to sign.

Look for this in the next couple of days…

Agreements with defensive tackle Darell Scott, the Rams’ fourth-round selection, and wide receiver Brooks Foster, their fifth-rounder, could be completed within the next couple of days
