Football Outsiders has out their list of “The Top 10 unfilled roster holes,” and the Rams make the list with their unsettled CB spot. Here’s the story:
10. St. Louis Rams: Cornerback
Only the Saints allowed more yards per pass than the Rams did a year ago; the Rams’ 10.2 yards per attempt allowed shows that they simply lacked cornerbacks who could stay on their receivers. They didn’t have Tye Hill for most of the year, but the fact that the team with the 25th-ranked pass defense in football a year ago added only third-round pick Bradley Fletcher at corner this offseason seems mind-boggling.

or maybe it shows we had no one upfront on the D-line to pressure and take down the QB? Our Secondary wasn’t great last year, but I’m not convinced we’re as bad there as people say.
A revamped linebacker corps, a healthy and more aggressive D-line and our corners will look better too.
