Rams News: May 27th

No catchy title today. Around the Horns on stltoday.com is a great way to see how the Rams are doing and offers a few details about how things are going. So let’s dig in to what they have to offer us today:

-Almost everyone is participating at the OTA’s, save for Keenan Burton and Derek Stanley (who have injuries) and Antonio Pittman who is with his family.

-Both the Rams first and second round picks are currently on the second team units, but the team is expecting them to make the jump to the first team before the beginning of the season.

-David Vobora and Larry Grant are taking turns playing the strongside linebacker on the first team, with Draft and Witherspoon at the other positions. Yes, that’s the same David Vobora that was Mr. Irrelevant. I guess you really, really have to go deep in the draft.

-Chad Lucas, a WR pickup off the FA lists, is making great impressions so far.

-Richie Incognito is actually trying to repair his image and nothing gain maturity. Yes, you read that right: Maturity.

  1. Jeff Roman says:

I chose to ignore the Richie Incognito story. One puff piece in the local newspaper in May means all of nothing to me.

We’ll see if this “maturity” he has claimed to have received is actually real during the season if he can keep a lid on the stupid penalties.

But trust me on this. The first drive-killing holding penalty or stupid 15 yard personal foul he gets, he’s as good as toast to Rams fans.
