Roderick Hood and the CB’s

It’s official: the Ram’s have interest in Roderick Hood. He was released by the Cardinals a while ago, and he has made a visit to St. Louis, in which Kevin Demoff reportedly gave him the low down of what could be offered, but he’s at this time just looking around. Spagnuolo knows him from his time in Philadelphia, so it would seem that they would have a good chance of landing him, should they choose to pursue him further.

Speaking of Cornerbacks, the long forgotten Tye Hill seems to be improving and has been impressing coaches in the OTA drills, and seems to have some swagger back.

In other Ram-notes, Wideout’s Chad Lucas and Jarret Byers have shown some glimpses of real talent. Keenan Burton was out with a hamstring that wasn’t feeling 100%, and Laurent Robinson and Donny Avery played with the #1 team in his absence.

Undrafted OT Phil Trautwein has a real chance to stick, as he has been working at Left Tackle with the second team.
