Spags Talking About Running the Football More
Posted by Matt Loede on January 20th, 2009 in News
New coach Steve Spagnuolo is talking offense, and today in the St.Louis Post Dispatch he says that the team is going to stress one thing – the run game. “You’ve got to be able to run the football and protect the quarterback. That doesn’t mean you run the football every snap, but I do believe you’ve got do those two things. We’ll build from there, and we won’t have a fancy name for it. We’ll just try to be successful at it.” That is good news for Steven Jackson, and could point to the team going after some better O-linemen in the draft of free agency.

Good! S-Jax is the basis of our success. Even when we are bad, S-Jax is good.
I’m certainly hoping for some O-Line orientated drafting!!!
