It looks like there is yet another name on the possible radar for the Rams, and this one comes out of the college ranks. The name is one that you may know – it’s Stanford coach and former NFL QB John Harbaugh. Adam Schefter of NFL.com reported today that a couple of teams, including the Rams, are interested in talking to Harbaugh.
Here is the report on NFL.com:
While Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh is out on the recruiting trail, he and his school are trying to finalize a long-term contract extension.
Chances are, the extension gets done; Harbaugh’s priority is to stay.
But the NFL is watching and waiting to see if the deal is completed. If it isn’t, the Detroit Lions, St. Louis Rams and New York Jets each have reached out to Harbaugh to see if he would be interested in interviewing for their head coaching vacancies. Detroit would be a logical fit. Harbaugh was a star quarterback at the University of Michigan, where he went on to become a first-round draft pick for the Chicago Bears.
Harbaugh’s brother, John Harbaugh, has the Ravens in the second round of the playoffs.

not another guy without NFL HC experience. He hasnt done the best job at Stanford. Just because his brother is doing well with the Ravens, doesnt mean that he is NFL ready. Also his brother John has great coordinators and a great defense.
