Has WR Holt Played His Last Game in St. Louis?

From: St.Louis Post Dispatch

Asked whether he’d prefer to continue his career with the Rams or elsewhere, wide receiver Torry Holt replied with a respectful but firm “no comment” Friday. Still, Holt sounded very much like a man who had played his last game in St. Louis. Reflecting on his 10 seasons with the Rams, Holt said, “I got here when things weren’t going too well. And then in ’99 I got drafted here and the Marshall (Faulk) trade, and etc., etc., and we go on to win the Super Bowl.

From that point on, playoff berths and division titles and another Super Bowl. So I was here when things were nice and I’ve been here when things haven’t been so nice. I’ve been able to catch both spectrums of the league. Fortunately I’ve been able to do it on one team. I haven’t had to pick up and move. It’s been good. I would say it’s definitely been an incredible run, an incredible 10 years, and I have no regrets.” Holt, 32, has 58 catches for 706 yards, far below his career averages of 89 and 1,318, respectively.
