Jackson’s thigh injury does not appear serious enough for the star running back to miss the resurgent Rams week 8 clash with the New England Patriots. His MRI simply showed a strain in his thigh and he is expected to start and play in week 8.
This is great news for Rams fans as Jackson was the focal point of the dominant offense against the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams need Jackson and his rare combination of power and speed to help the Rams break down the slowing Patriots defense.
