The Rams return to the field this week after a bye in Week 5 to take on the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. The game is the first for Jim Haslett as head coach of the Rams, after Haslett was named head coach following the dismissal of Scott Linehan. Since moving to St. Louis in 1995, the Rams are 8-5 in games following a bye week. Last season following the bye week, the Rams defeated New Orleans, 37-29, to give the team it?s first win of the 2007 season.
The Rams have faced Washington 32 times (regular season and postseason), with the Redskins leading the all-time series 22-9-1. The series dates to 1937.
