Let the Scott Linehan watch begin. Today during the Notre Dame halftime show on NBC, Peter King of Sports Illustrated and Sirius Radio said that if the Rams get beat by the Bills Sunday, he’ll finally be canned. King said that Linehan would be given his “walking papers” (uh, don’t you mean fired Peter?).
Linehan didn’t exactly make the locker room too happy this past week with the head scratching move of sitting QB Marc Bulger for ancient Trent Green, who will start vs Buffalo. While most stayed quiet, two that came out and voiced their opinions right away were running back Steven Jackson and wide out Torry Holt. Jackson said it was a bogus move, while Holt said all the blame should not be on Bulger for the teams terrible offense through three games.
Bulger is a quality QB, and has shown it in the past. He also is a co-captain for the team, showing the leadership he has in the Rams locker room. Linehan has lost the team totally, and the team is worse than ever. They need a completely new look, and a new coach would be a start. Look for Linehan to be shown the door, the team morale to get better, and for them to finally start playing better with a new voice telling them what to do.

Bye Linehan, i hope my rams can pull off the upset but, i think he’s gettin fired anyway win or lose.
Yup, the next report has him fired no matter what.
Sadly, the report has Haslett taking over as interim, which isn’t ideal.
